About me

Name:Dadi Ram Neopaney ( Dadi Ram Antim)
Journalist/Blogger

I was born in Dagana district of Bhutan, a small country lying in south-east Asia, in a middle class and simple family in June 1987, I was evicted from the home country when I was just 4-year old in 1992. My family fled from the country simply because there was fear of persecution from the state side;many Nepali ethnic peoples were tortured, women were raped, number of man were imprisoned  by state security forces with out any justifiable reasons. Many of political prisoners are still in jails of Bhutan languishing in poor conditions, being unpublicized.

Being very young I started living as refugee in Jhapa, eastern district of Nepal.UNHCR-managed refugee camp in Nepal.I completed my School Leaving Certificate level (grade 10) from camp school and joined for higher secondary education in local near-by campus with major subject English and Sociology. My two year higher secondary level education was finished amidst financial crunch of brother-in-law.I vowed to earn my Bachelor degree  from Unique College Damak affiliated to Purwanchal University of Nepal.

My carrier in journalism began from2002, when I was formally appointed as correspondent of 'Bhutan Jagaran' (fortnightly newspaper published by Nepali Shahitya Parishasd Bhutan, it was published from Damak and was circulated with in refugee camps from 2000 to 2007).It was my own self-esteem and learning to get entered in journalism.

Now I live in Richmond, Virginia of USA along with my three family member.I entered in USA on December 8,2009  through resettlement program of UNHCR office in Nepal.
